You may have heard of the film ’9′ by Tim Burton. ’9′ is actually based on a 2005 short film with the same title and characters by Shane Acker as a student project. The animated film takes place in an apocalyptic time period, and features a living rag doll as the main character. I am very impressed with the visual style of the film and the artistic vision. It kind of reminds me of ‘Wall-E’. Unfortunately, this was the best video I could find. I was unable to locate the original site with an HD version. Nevertheless, the film is fantastic and you’ll enjoy it regardless.
